These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website abstractenterprisessecuritysystems.com and the services provided by Abstract Enterprises Security Systems LLC ("Abstract Enterprises," "we," "us," "our"). By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
Abstract Enterprises Security Systems provides low-voltage security system installation, repair, and related services across New York City (all five boroughs), Long Island (Nassau and Suffolk counties), and the Hudson Valley (Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Putnam, Dutchess, and Ulster counties). Our services include security camera installation, intercom installation, door buzzer installation and repair, structured cabling, TV installation, alarm systems, fire alarm systems, home automation, and AV sound installation.
We are a licensed and insured low-voltage contractor in the State of New York. NYS License #12000287431.
Prices listed on our website are starting estimates and may vary based on property type, scope of work, building conditions, wiring requirements, and other factors. Final pricing is determined after an on-site assessment or detailed consultation. All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing.
A $50 late fee applies on the first day a payment is overdue. After that, a 1.5% monthly interest charge accrues on any unpaid balance, capped at 25% of the total contract value. Abstract Enterprises reserves the right to pursue collections for any unpaid balances.
Service calls include an on-site diagnostic and assessment. Service call fees are applied toward the cost of any resulting work. If no additional work is performed, the service call fee covers the diagnostic visit only.
All installations come with a one-year parts-only warranty from the date of installation. The warranty covers defects in parts and components provided by Abstract Enterprises. The warranty does not cover damage caused by tampering, misuse, unauthorized modifications, power surges, acts of nature, or normal wear and tear. Tampering with installed equipment without prior written authorization from Abstract Enterprises voids the warranty.
Service callbacks for warranty-covered issues are provided at no charge during the warranty period. Non-warranty service visits are billed at $195 per hour with a 3-hour minimum.
Appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Same-day service is available based on technician availability. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Deposits for canceled jobs may be applied as credit toward future services at our discretion.
The customer is responsible for providing clear access to all work areas, accurate information about the property and existing systems, and ensuring that any necessary permissions (landlord approval, building management, HOA, co-op board) are obtained before work begins. Delays caused by lack of access or missing approvals may result in additional charges.
Abstract Enterprises' total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the total amount paid by the customer for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, business interruption, or property damage beyond the scope of our work.
